After spending years in senior management in the travel and hospitality sectors, I decided to retrain and gained a Diploma in Strategic Social Media Marketing.

I train and coach businesses and their teams on using social media as a vital part of their marketing strategy and how to integrate it into their job roles.

As a small business owner based in York, North Yorkshire, I understand your challenges and offer tailored support to meet your needs. I’m also a straight-talking Lancashire lass, which means I break through the jargon and explain things in a simple, no-nonsense way!

Being an advocate for social media self-care, I regularly share tips on building these into your daily routine.

So why did I call my business the Social Media Tree? 

Because I believe the tree is a perfect analogy for how social media works. You start tentatively sowing the seeds, putting yourself out there, feeling vulnerable, and then your roots start to take hold. After a while, you have your first few followers, and people start to notice your brand. Like a young sapling, you then need further care and attention until you are finally well-established and mature.
